This Morning we only fished about 90 minutes. We had 2 sailfish on and caught one. Then as soon as the baits got out we caught a wahoo.
Soon there after we were headed home.

In August 2008 we tagged a 35 lb swordfish. Last night Matt Gill recaptured that fish and it weighed 300 lbs. that is a gain of 50 lbs per year.
Matt said the tag looked brand new.

Things started slow last night. But when darkness fell the action started. We caught 3 tarpon 65 to 80 pounds on live shrimp just south of Haulover Cut.

Today we caught 7 sailfish out of 10 bites. We also caught 2 nice tuna, 1 bonito and a big cero mackerel.
Other boats in the fleet caught 2 white marlin and a blue marlin plus plenty of sailfish and mahi.
This morning we had a great trip. We fished with a nice couple from Rome Italy. They had good action catching 5 bonito, 2 king mackerel, a shark and 3 sailfish.
This evening a father and his son-in-law caught 3 tarpon, 3 jacks and a mutton snapper. But then the rain came.

Today we were out to score Michael’s first billfish. He is off to a great start with a 76 pound sailfish. His dad added a small shark.
Tonight was crazy. We caught 7 tarpon. 3 were 70 to 90 pounds and 4 were 110 to 130 pounds.

What a great night. We had a family from Holland and Ciurosel. They each caught a tarpon over 70 pounds to 110 pounds. We fished live shrimp off Miami Beach.

Yesterday we fished live herring on flatlines and kite. We caught 2 big sailfish, 16 lb mahi, 18 lb kingfish, a smaller king and 2 bonito. We fought another sailfish that broke the leader.
Then last night we fished live shrimp along Miami Beach and caught a mutton snapper, a jack, a ladyfish and tarpon of 50 and 120 pounds. We had 2 more tarpon on that got away. That big fish gave Larry a 2 hour workout.
